Anti-Inflams raise stroke risk?

A new study has found older people who take some commonly used anti-inflammatory drugs face an increased risk of stroke.

The non-steroidal anti-inflamatory drugs are often used to treat joint pain.

Lead researcher Dr Gillian Caughey says while the risk is low, patients should consult their doctor.

  • Such an informative news I must say. Stroke, in my thought, is very dangerous and prevalent too. Up to now, i see many risks of stroke links to many factors around me: salt diet, coffee drinking, depression, soda, gum disease, etc.
    So confused to this.
