  • Wake up TV execs - People don't want the junk you are feeding them - they want ENTERTAINMENT like Hey Hey! If we want to see murder and mayhem and boring accounts of "reality" (as interesting as watching paint dry) then we can pick up the paper..Let's have more real entertainment before we all forget what it is.

  • without doubt, Hey Hey was terrific, we are middle aged professionals and our curiosity lead us to record the program and watched it Thursday night. My husband and I totally relaxed for nearly 3 hours and thoroughly enjoyed the Australian humour.

  • Hey Hey - yes I'm a fan - you can't beat good old fashioned variety - but seiously if it's going to work it does have to become current. The fact that many of the past presenters are not available should it return is only going to help that.
Ratings! who needs them - really! They are a curse on Australian TV and detrimental to the mix of quality shows that are available to us. Thank fully the ABC and SBS buck the trend and show some good content but the dumbed down shows that the other 3 networks sho just because they are "popular" are just rating driven drivel.
Programers - take a look what is happening in the UK for quality programming and get away from the so called traditional Australian shows.
