Plane loses both its wings
On 3AW Breakfast, Ross and John discussed their headline of a day, a piece from the UK Daily Mail.
'Please brace for an emergency water landing': BA flight crew mistakenly play recorded crash message on flight from Miami
According to the article, during a recent British Airways flight from Miami to London, cabin crew accidentally told passengers the plane was going down and they needed to make an 'emergency water landing,' presumably somewhere over the Atlantic.
Passengers allegedly panicked and crew spent the remaining hours of the flight easing their fears.
'We would like to apologise to passengers on the flight for causing them undue concern,' a British airways spokesperson later said.
The headline of the day discussion prompted Ross to talk about when disaster actually strikes an aircraft, and he mentioned an unbelievable Youtube video which captures a plane losing both its wings and plummeting to the ground.
