Hey Dumbrell, please list the football venues the are fenced off? That hasn't been in practice in the main leagues since the 1980's, but I suppose someone like yourself who thinks going to the Gold Coast is experiencing another culture wouldn't have a clue what happens overseas & relies on the Herald Sun for his information. If your pathetic game was played overseas....hahahahaha... that thought is so funny, you guys get excited when it is played in NSW, they would need more than fences to stop crowd trouble after the violence on the pitch.

Yeah, good one Matt. Your descrition is befitting a walk down King street on Saturday night. Banning that too are we?
Contact sport is violent Matt but most of us don't pop home and beat our wives or children.
The new media?
Would that be the stuff we read on here that has to be absolutely, unquestionably true, because someone said so, type media? Or are you now going to tell me that no such violence occurs during the playing or spectating of "the beautiful game".paddy Monday 2 August, 2010 - 1:09 PM -
Matt you are a dipstick no one wants to hear your comments so keep them to yourself. But the real problem here is the feral parents and win at all cost mentallity.I have umpired at junior level in the past and it seemed the younger the kids are the worst the abuse directed towards the umpires is,even the kids themselves are embarassed by their parents actions. But at least we havent got to the stage of fencing off the arenas like they do for soccer to keep the ferals off the ground MATT!!!

Matt, I am afraid you may be right. It is the culture ,our new culture of our new society. Our kids are too precious and mind accusing them of committing a foul. Those little suckers are out of control because their own family culture is such. What hope have we got.

Why not sending Neil Mitchell as an adviser and consultant. He thinks that this sort of repeated and systematic barbaric behaviour is just a very small minority of us as good people in a good and normal society. Remember, kids reflect their parents. That tells us where we are heading. Ever been to an under sixteen training match? Try it. Parents can hardly contain themselves let alone their kids.
I still wonder why should some masochists take the umpire's job.Dany Friday 30 July, 2010 - 2:00 PM -
Matt i wondered how long it would take you to start spinning your usual crap that you go on with.Maybe they should fence off the arena with wire netting like they do overseas at SOCCER!! venues to keep the feral soccer supporters from killing the players & throwing flares, although i can understand why they do it,its because they are all bored S---LESS!!!!!
