Sly's five-point plan to tackle cheating in racing
Sly of the Underworld has penned a five-point plan to combat cheating and fraudulent activity within the racing industry, and the gambling industry as a whole.
1. Employ Bill Kneebone, former head of the Racing Squad and a former employee of Racing Victoria, as a liaison officer
2. Create a 'Casino and Racing Squad' á la New South Wales
3. Pass 'Cheating in Gambling' legislation so material Police acquire during investigations can be used on matters of conspiracies to defraud in gambling.
4. Grant Racing Commissioner Sal Perna coercive powers
5. Stop people prohibited from racing from having business dealings with registered people within the industry.

Stop blaming Christine.
It was under Labor and under Labor corruption is a right of passage, slush funds, fraud, coercion are the order of the day.
Christine, poor girl, simply did the bidding of Premier and AG.Pat Monday 19 November, 2012 - 6:29 PM -
