3AW Breakfast was on hand at the Spanish Club in Johnson Street, Brunswick, for the joyous scenes as Spain claimed its first ever World Cup victory with a 1-0 extra-time win over Holland.

Don't miss the colourful Spanish Club President Alfredo Manor with Ross and John.

Johnson Street was closed by police shortly after the win as people flooded onto the street from the club.

REPORT: Spain has won the World Cup for the first time with a goal in extra-time, seeing off Holland 1-0 in Johannesburg.

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta's 116th-minute strike inflicted a third final defeat for the Dutch who lost in 1974 and 1978.

A niggly game saw a flurry of yellow cards and John Hettinga dismissed in extra time for a second bookabale offence.

Walkley Award or worst cross ever?

Sacked LISTEN: 3AW Breakfast's Ross and John enlisted the help of website producer Ben Wise to capture the mood at the Spanish Club as Spain won the world cup. The boys probably expected something a little different...
