This is a wakeup call for building designers - the old weather records no longer apply. Buildings should be designed to meet any eventuality, including severe storms. Buildings should be designed to prevent accumulation of water & hail. We have to live with our current environment.

The great bit about the "people running for their lives" video from SOuthern Croass was the look of disinterested Melbournians walking around in T shirts and shorts while it's all happening.
