  • No, I'm actually not a die-hard fan of any singer. Even though I haven't been to any other Whitney concert I simply used to enjoy Whitney's music until the concert and I expected nothing unreasonable from this event. In fact, the way it was promoted and priced I had no reason to believe that we could end up with an event where the struggling artist needed support from the crowd to get through the night. It wasn't a charity event and I paid a lot of money for this. Going to the movies is very different. For starters the price is only $10-$20 but here we're talking over $1000 for the whole weekend for which I see no justification given this unreasonable performance.

  • Have you every been to a Whitney concert prior to the one you are complaining about?????

Whitney has always taken breaks in songs especialy ' I will always love you' for dramatic effect and true fans love it, its what we want to see. The only time she doesnt is in a one of song performances if appearing on shows. Whitney never sings a song the same, she jams and feels the moment, it make each concert unique. She has always interacted with the audience and always express her love for her God.

If you didnt know this, then your are not a fan. Also you had unrealistic expectations.

Do us all a favour stop watching to much TV & come in to the real world.

    Whitney rocks!!! full stop

Thanks for spending you money on a ticket though, maybe she will by something nice with your money and wear it for us all to see and appreciate.

  • your applying for a refund and no where does it say that if your not satified with the performance then you have any right to refund, if this was the case the filmmakers would be in huge debt, whitney houston went on stage gave everything she had and you did not like it move on. if you was expecting to see her dance around the stage and sing like she used to then u are seriously in need of help as you are in an obvious state of denial and delusion. Whitney Houston was never going to sing like she once did and anybody who though so in the slightest is just stupid. do you not have televisions it is simply clear to see her voice is not the same. from what i saw anyway whitney done a great job. btw if you loook up some of whitneys older concerts they are all the same, she is always talking to her audience she is always going to the little table at the back, you should research before you spend your money blindly its not fault of whitney or the promoter that you did not know what you were getting yourself into, more fool you.

  • Of course, I do have video footage. And Whitney gave plenty of material (if she actually was on stage for a change!) to show that she didn't perform but either talked her way out of her misery, prayed to God or interrupt her greatest song 3 times to "refresh" herself at the back of the stage.

And by the way the Ticketmaster website is a great indicator where over 50% of people gave the show 1 or 2 stars. Yes, there are people who enjoyed the show (die-hard fans, drunk or accepting low standards) but compare the reviews to Tom Jones or other concerts and there is no denial that Whitney's show did not meet expectations and clearly didn't deliver what it promised.

  • To all the commentators who say that she performed poorly, where is your video/audio to back up your claim? Now please, don't tell me that you didn't take at least a cell phone camera with you. Show me the receipts!

  • To all those people you enjoyed the show: "I'm glad you have such low standards. Surely makes it more bearable to get ripped off, eh? I even heard you scream and shout when Whitney was off stage and when they just played an old music clip. So, who is the idiot here? I paid to see Whitney PERFORM and not to hear her talk about Jesus and Michael Jackson, attempt to sing a few lines of her songs and fail miserably at it. That was pathetic.

My email is working fine. I have received emails from other members. It's whitney.refund at gmx.net (no space before/after the at, of course).
