Australian rocker Tex Perkins will replicate the legendary Johnny Cash's performances at US jail Folsom State Prison at Victoria's Port Phillip Prison on Monday, August 31.

After he went missing momentarily at the 3AW studio, Tex strolled in to share a great Friday morning chat with the 3AW Breakfast boys.

Aside from the prison gig, Tex is also performing in 'The Man In Black - The Johnny Cash Story' concert with the Tennessee Four at the Athaneum Theatre on Wednesday, Spetember 2.

You two blokes are a breath of fresh air, with your no bultish style, and you bounce off each other so well, l turn you on from 6.30am drive to city from Mt Eliza each day till around 7.30, so much more enjoyable than listening to others that try so hard, but just havent got it.

Without a doubt - the best entertainment going.Only wish R & J show ran longer! Their sense of humours are just spot on!! They need to make the best of CD as it's hard to always remember the one liners they pull off!
