My son, a Uni student, works part time at a Southbank cafe / restaurant. His two bug bears are the people who forget a smile, a please and thank you. The other one is the "smarties" who leave the dregs in a beer glass, pretend not to hear or don't answer the question whether they have finished, and when the glass is cleared try to get a free one by carrying on like a pork chop pretending they have not finished and the glass was wrongly removed.
