AFL boss Andrew Demetriou joined 3AW Mornings for his regular Friday segment.

Today, Mr Demetriou praised Ian Dicker after he was appointed the new chief of the Bushfire Recovery Authority.

He also discussed the league's deal with Victoria Police and said while he says the Ben Cousins documentary is well made, he is angered over the way Channel 7 has been promoting it.

Debate rages over very largely 'unseen' documentary Debate continues to rage over the Ben Cousins documentary, which most of Australia has not seen. While it's hard for many to comment on something they haven't seen, Joanne - who lost her son to drugs - has earned her right to share a strong view.

  • The damage being done to the game by Demetriou and his crew with their secretive drug policy will soon be irreversable. They must adopt the international codes, they must expose and evict drug cheats, get the rubbish out of the game and make room for good "clean" kids. AFL ranks are starting to resemble the Australian cricket team, too many has beens being propped up by doctors and dope.
