Fans slam Knights contract extension

Essendon coach Matthew Knights jas signed a contract extension which will see him at the helm of the club until at least the end of 2012.

In a fired up segment on Sports Today, the majority of callers gave Essendon a spray for giving Knights the extension.

Essendon should NEVER have made knights a coach, at best knights is ONLY a skills coach. Knights failed with Port Adelaide, he failed with Bendigo and has no idea about defense whatsoever
No other club was knocking on knights' door when Sheedy was sacked so the furphy made by the Essendon board that they had to act quickly before all potential replacements got signed up was all hogwash, as is the contract extension.
Remember Western Bulldogs were below Essendon when knights took over, and the Doggies have more likelihood of getting a flag than Essendon. So what has knights done! Essendon will more likely win the wooden spoon under knights.
Sack knights and get a proper coach!

Essendon supporters have every reason to be upset. As a coach - knights has a track record of failure, his game plan is unsustainable and his short sightedness is destroying the fabric of the club.

No more Knights.
