Looking forward to MMM Saturday call this year. Its been rubbish up to now with Brian Taylor , Eddy Everywhere and co.
Only listened to 3aw for REX, CARO. Bondy and Robert Walls. I listened to REX and the team call football no matter who was playing! He was the catalyst for an extremely entertaining afternoon/evenings listening.
So is Caro still on sunday? If so I may tune in for that.
Shane Healy is one of the worst caller of football on the radio and he is in charge!
So Friday nights it looks like back to watching TV but not necessarily the football. Saturday MMM with REX and then Sunday 12 noon to hear Caro then back to TV for the game or find something else to do on Sundays.
You seem to forget that you exist to entertain people. But you seem intent on producing the 21st Century version of the Tobin Brothers.. Boring..Monotonous....MONOTONE and Droning delivery

Rex is a beauty - I love all the "69 lemon chicken" and "8, 8, 56 brother", the fat lady singing, -all that stuff. How can I listen to Rex in Perth next year? Is MMM linked to a Perth sister station that does footy? I guess streaming off the internet is an option. Sick em Rex.

I never listened to football broadcasts -- I found them boring -- until I heard Rex doing a call. Rex breathed life into them, made them entertaining. That his calls got me hooked on footy says a lot about the quality of his broadcasting and his incomparable ability to convey the excitement of a match and to paint word pictures that kept his audience listening week after week, and year after year.
It's not going to be the same without you, Rex. All the very best to you and your family.

Well Rex, Ive listened to you all along both fishing & your awesome AFL calls.I have very fond memories of listening to your early fishing calls on 3DB with Jack Yabby Wells "Wher'e here wher'e there wher'e all over the place". Good luck & all the best Rex and i'll see you next year. On MMM.

I think Brian will be a breath of fresh air at 3AW. Rex was hugely egotistical, self promoting, and at times, downright smutty on air. Congratulations Shane and management on making the right call.
