Bulging disc couldn't stop Neil
PLAYING NOW: You can't keep him down. Neil Mitchell suffered another back spasm just before he was due to go to air this morning. Here he is in his lounge room, pumped full of Valium and speaking to Melbourne. The muscle relaxants kicked in just in the nick of time as it was looking as though he wasn't going to make it to air this morning. Full points to him. He opened this morning's program, slurring a little, with his thoughts on the Leaders Debate and Masterchef.
'Don't tell the doctor'
VIDEO: Here is a little behind-the-scenes video from Neil's living room. Thanks to all who wished him well on 3AW.com.au today.

Hi Can sympathize with Neil My daughter age 23 is a new mum to a beautiful baby boy 9 weeks old. Same as Neil she is hospital at the moment since Sunday with a bulging disc.I'm looking after the baby for her.I can understand Neils pain watching my daughter scream in agony and having to get the ambulance to her. She is still in there today. So Natasha get well and hope Neil does too. Best Wishes from an avid listener to 3 aw From Lisa Parisi burder
