Climate change '90 per cent' certainty
ABOVE: The head of the CSIRO tells 3AW Breakfast here is '90 per cent' probability of man made climate change.
Listen to the interview and let us know what you think - or debate amongst yourselves (a near certainty?).

where is this 90% certainty come from.
I heard it was not even from scientists - it came from a PR committee - can anyone enlighten me?

I can remember 1973 when the world scientests told us we were entering a mini Ice-Age; what happened to it?

Lenny you keep playing the man and not the ball . The simple fact is that water vapour is 95 % of the green hose gas effect and man can do nothing about it so go and hug a tree.

And you were saying Mark? LMFAO
Mark has had his butt kicked so often, I'm beginning to question his masochistic tendencies~! LOL Next~!

Mark, let's not stretch the BS even further~! You've been the number one advocate on behalf of COAL related industry from day one~! So far you've AMAZINGLY managed to quote every 'sceptics' argument that was ever published~! (obviously purely coincidental, according to Mark). Mark conveniently forgets that water vapour has been around since the year dot, long before man arrived, or GW became an issue. Mark generally quotes obscure 'scientific' references from material that (again coincidentally) happens to support sceptic's selective version of 'science'. Mark deliberately avoids any of the 1599 pages of the IPCC report that he can't argue against on the basis of scientific rebuttal. So far his arguments have been primarily focused on Durkin's amusing parody "The Great Global Warming Swindle" and stolen emails which vindicated the scientific data. Mark's latest obsession is water vapour. Mark, even 1st year science students can differentiate H2O from other gasses & chemicals. Mark's scientific evidence primarily focuses on the word 'con'. That's the sum total of Mark's 'evidence'~! lmfao Wallace Smith Broecker is perhaps best known for his discovery of the role played by the ocean in triggering abrupt climate changes, in particular, popularization of the idea of a global "conveyor belt" linking the circulation of the global ocean. In 1975, Dr. Broecker coined the phrase 'global warming' when he published a paper titled: 'Climate Change: Are we on the Brink of a Pronounced Global Warming?' He has recently co-written an account of climate science with the science journalist, Robert Kunzig. This includes a discussion of the work of Broecker's Columbia colleague Klaus Lackner in capturing CO2 from the atmosphere - which Broecker believes MUST play a vital role in reducing emissions and countering global warming~!

Of course CSIRO scientist Dr Clarke wouldn't be biased by any chance as the CSIRO is funded by the Federal Gov't and will say anything that Kevin Rudd tells them to say. Their report was of Australia only, so therefore shouldn't their findings be referred to as Australia Warming, not Global Warming?
