Well done David.
I hope that speaking about that tragedy long ago can ease your pain. Each and everyone of us as youths have acted irresponsibly at some time or another without realizing the consequences to family and friends. Unfortunately most youths of today as well as yesterday have that reckless attitude towards life. Only constant reminders of real life experiences such as David's continually airing on tv and radio channels MAY get the message across.vince buscema Sunday 15 August, 2010 - 7:03 PM -

A SERIAL hoon has pleaded to be spared jail, on the day Victoria recorded its 200th road death for the year.
Jamie Alex Tabone's lawyer argued he had lost the ability to make decisions four years ago, after suffering a head injury - when he smashed his car into a tree.
Will some one tell the police to crush this blokes car.It a bloody disgrace he is repeatedly hooning around.janet page Friday 13 August, 2010 - 9:18 AM -
Certainly well done to David Hille. To be able to put his own very personal struggle aside in the hope that it will aid at least one person in making a correct decision is commendable and very brave. I sincerely hope that his efforts make a difference.

Although the interview was extremely genuine and touching, what does make me curious is why the suburb never got a mention....those who live there know where it happened and those involved know what he was talking about their families so whats the difference if he mentioned the place.
