REPORT: Gangland widow Wendy Pierce has again vowed NOT to officially reveal what she knows about the Walsh Street police murders.

The Herald Sun reports that Pierce has again admited she lied to protect her late husband Victor's role in the 1988 ambush, again declaring she won't say so under oath.

Despite Peirce's comments, the father of one of the victims Frank Eyre says 2011 has brought his family some hope that they may finally get the closure they desperately need.

After news of the story broke, 3AW head-kicker Derryn Hinch tweeted: "Wendy Peirce is a despicable gangster’s moll who should have been tried for perjury and obstructing justice."

  • Wendy is nothing more than proof of the saying garbage in garbage out. Can't say she's pleasant to behold, but you can't condemn her. Not when every 3rd 3aw story is about government/victorians letting down their fellow victorian. People who are trying to do the right thing. Matter of fact it seems most Australians think the most damage is done by the criminals wearing white collars.

  • In case you hadn't noticed Graham, people with something to hide generally say nothing.

  • No association with Wendy at all Graham. Her family or friends as well. Even underworld killers who get innocent fruiterers killed never get the death penalty. Not to mention all the money wasted on them (including Wendy). Too little too late complaining about all of this as it won't change any laws either. Good luck to Wendy representing a serious flaw in the system. If the flaw was corrected you can bet it still wouldn't reflect anything people would buy.

  • Got something to hide W & Cane? Wendy should do the decent thing and tell all. The families have been through enough!

  • What a calim to fame - 'i know who shot the coppers but I'm not telling'. The woman is a joke. Let's drag her through the courts, lets get her and her in laws kicked out of their public housing, let's deny her leagl aid, (that should only be for decent people), lets stop her dole payments, (you should have to contribute to society to be eligible for the dole), lets hound this woman for the rest of her days. No sympathy for filth.
