Internet with telstra constantly disconnects. It barely comes at all.

Hi I am not getting my Telstra bills and been calling them up so many times it is a joke. I asked them if they could send me a sms to tell me how much my bill was they said that they would but they never did. Now my phone has been disconnected and that is my only life line to everyone. I have a Nokia N97 mini and want to change it to Optus as had a old sim card. I am unable to unlock my phone. Can anyone help. I am also now not working but was when I got the contract.

The only "problem" I have with Telstra is the size of their bills! No wonder they are making so much money! We once had a problem with our Wireless Internet connection and Telstra went out their way to help.

I am currently going through problems having a new phone connected. It is unbelievable the run-around you get and you can't even get to the complaints department. Unfortunately, we have no choice in the North (that I know about) I am seriously looking at cancelling all Telstra business but as a tour operator I need a good secure set-up. It wouldn't take much to beat Telstra's service that's for sure!

I had a Samsung Galaxy Tab with Telstra.Later I ordered a 2nd mobile Nokia N8 with a new number. The phone arrived but the mobile number was the same as the samsung's.Telstra organised a new sim.Suddenly my nokia N8 lost its network.I rung Telstra, put on hold and got disconnected.I called again she checked the system found the new sim card that was ordered has the same number as the old one!I now I have two phones with no network. She suggested I wait for the new sim before going any further. The new sim arrived, the document stated a new mobile number but the sim was of my previous number! So yet another card was arranged.I received the sim card but there was no network.Telstra activation team informed me the Credit Management PACC did not approve the sim as there were too many sim requests. He left an explanation on the system and that someone from the credit management PACC will contact me.They never did.So Telstra activation team suggested I call them myself.I rung 'PACC' numerous times and all i got was a voicemail to leave messages which i did.None of them return my call!I finally got a call this afternoon and credit management PACC said everything was fine. All i had to do was contact activations.I did and was told nothing has changed & I was to call PACC yet again.I'm at wits end now. I JUST WANT TO SCREAMMMMMM! telstra people have no idea what they are doing,no one communicates as the call centres are either in Phillipines and India except for the sales department which is in Australia, strangely enough.

We were over charged, countless phone calls and they refused to accept that we were wrongly charged. (dumbest call centre people I have ever dealt with), we politely told them to shove their service where the sun don't shine. One month later we get a statement showing us to be in credit for the exact amount we had calimed.
Net result we are now with another carrier after 30 years because the dumb indian call centre staff cannot add up.Leanne of Port Melbourne Tuesday 25 January, 2011 - 2:56 PM
