REPORT: With the arrival of another asylum seeker boat the Prime Minister has defended Labor's record and it's handling of the crisis.

Julia Gillard says she will not be changing the appeals process which the Oppositiopn claims is fuelling the problem.

A vessel, carrying 31 passengers and three crew, is being towed to Christmas island - it's the third boat to arrive in less than a week.

It comes after it was revealed 90 per cent of Afghan refugees who were rejected for asylum status had the decison overturned on appeal.

Prime Minister Julia Gillard says she's not thinking about changing the appeals process.

Shadow Immigration Minister Scott Morrison says the appeals process is becoming a joke.

  • Just wanted to respond to Julia stating that the processes to determine whether refugees appeals is the same as the previous government. Processes the same but Labour appointed a new chairman, a refugee advocate and has since shed those people who supported the highest no. of rejections. Same process different processees = more acceptance.

Asking why are Aslum seekers, Refugees, given accomodation whilst Aussies and Aussie families are Homeless. I ve been very vocal about this, and sick of seeing Aussies being Sacrificed for these low lives.

  • The Australian Government is selling off Australia and flooding the country with over 500,000 immigrants each year. Those here now will find their lifestyle changes from a happy country to a miserable overcrowded bottleneck everywhere because the government has not provided the infrastructure or services for such a massive migration. 500,000 people need water, food and somewhere to live. Australia suffers droughts so those people need infrastructure to provide lots more water in times of droughts. Only 4% of Australia is arable and suitable for food crops so you have to plan food supply well ahead of demand. You have to build more hospitals, schools, houses, shopping centres and provide services or cause mayhem in the presently overcrowded system. Also most people do not want confrontational immigrants whose religion is straight out of the Dark Ages and their religion demands that they kill us. So Government has to be more select in its choice of suitable immigrants because these people have set up enclaves that are NO GO even for Police, crime has gone through the roof and they harbour Terrorists. You are setting the stage for civil war in this country if you maintain this course.
