Gillard promised not to lead

Julia Gillard On May 10, not that long ago really, Julia Gillard made the strongest possible assertions she would not lead the Labor Party into the next election. Certainly not calling her a liar, but it appears she may have been wrong.

  • Gillard will not last a full term. We need another election quick smart...our house hold bill will skyrocket thanks to labor/green alliance. Wait and see!

  • I am so tired of the statement by Ms Gillard that she was elected by the people ..she was not. As a female I find her quite uninspiring and as a femeale leader, she represents everything that I hated in the school yard...she is a bully and extremely ambitious, Julie Bishop could give a few tips on dignity and femininaty . I was a member of the labor party for over 20years what a waste. Tony do what oposition leaders do and don;t be fooled by the sickly airey fairey, feel good statements that are as hollow as her words. Sad times for women.

  • So far we have seen absolutely nothing of substance from the new Gillard government. It is highly unlikely this situation will change.
The Australian voting community has to be the most repugnant group of docile yes men in the world. They have voted in the person with the second highest position of influence in the Rudd government. A government that is widely viewed by many to be the worst this nation has ever endured. Now the Australian people will not only endure Gillard for a few years but we will also be poisoned by Rudd in a key position.
The ex Education minister has further damaged the facility of education by diluting ministerial responsibility and focus. The ex hatchet master who ousted Rudd primarily for the mining tax fiasco is now holding the entire nation and stock market to ransom with a similar initiative.

  • When will Australians get their head out of their backsides and wake up. Labor will run the country down through debt and inner circle expenditure then Liberal comes in and solves the problem by selling off more Australian assets.
Currently the world is witnessing many nations people stand up and act regarding their wellbeing and national security. Australia as always is very quiet. A nation of gutless people entirely satisfied to let the cretins of this nation strip our wealth and erode our way of life. Nobody is prepared to step up and ask the big questions such as population reduction, national security, why we are involved in wars that certainly do not concern us, why we have allowed these wars to change our status from a nation with no threat to a nation highly threatened, energy, environment, water, education and cost of living to name a few. Why do Australians tolerate living in one of the most heavily taxed and the most heavily governed nation of the world when this has massively eroded our standard of living over the last 20 years?

  • For as long as Australians remain gutless sycophants lacking the moral fortitude to demand change this will continue. This behaviour has resulted in you drinking poor water, breathing polluted air, watching infantile entertainment with more than 50% advertising, having an education facility performance that clearly will subject our children to hardship, being subjected to inferior quality produce at a massively inflated price, poor medical facilities and of course massive taxation. Australians can be assured the next 5 years will be the most detrimental for the wellbeing of this country in our history.
There is absolutely nothing remaining to proud about as an Australian. We no longer have any identity beyond simply being another American franchise. We have allowed our genetic base to be so diluted that there really is not an Australia remaining. We allow media influence to continually erode the Australian ethos for this inane and infantile regime of violence and stupidity.
Considering the fact we are not formally under a dictatorial regime the Australian citizen must be the most pathetic example of a morally conscious and proactive citizen in all the world. Get off your fat lazy behind, stop being cowards and do something to protect the security of your children Australia.
Two companies control our entire food market. That is why we are provided with swill at massive prices. Three companies control our media networks. That is why we are purified with brain depleting garbage. Federal government, state government and local government is filled with morons totally incapable of servicing the nation and with the simple intention of filling their pockets with your money.

  • I am not religious but I am a once proud Australian of many generations. This country now sickens me. From a pathetic people who will not demand security for their children to the military atrocities this country supports, to the fantastic rape of this country by our political representation and the cost it represents and the fact that we have allowed the future of our best asset, our children to be smashed. What sort of an idiot does not realise that for as long as we allow immoral action at a distance such as war atrocities, persecution, political rape and financial persecution the axe gets a little closer to your head. Why are your brains now so dead that you cannot conceive that the axe is now swinging and your neck is the target. If you had been less pathetic earlier this could have been avoided but now public protest in the millions is required to reverse this immanent tragedy.
â??May the lord make us truly thankful for what we are about receiveâ??. You will not be thankful Australia but you will receive much pain and degradation in coming years. And you deserve every bit of it. â??A coward dies a thousand deathsâ??.
