Neil Mitchell wants Latham sacked
Neil Mitchell has slammed Channel Nine reporter Mark Latham for his jibe at Channel Nine's respected political commentator, Laurie Oakes.
The 3AW host, who returned to the airwaves briefly as he recovers from a painful bulging disc in his back, said Latham's comment that Oakes is 'morbidly obese' was way out of line.
"Mark Latham is an arrogant pig. Laurie Oakes has more decency, more ethics and more talent in his nose-hairs than Mark Latham does."
Neil says Channel Nine should sack Latham - is he right?

I see Neil is OK with censorship so long as it is something he doesn't like!

The concern I have with non-compulsary voting at elections is that people who don't care to vote could be enticed to sell their vote in marginal seats. I imagine pollie stooges going to university campuses or trolling Smith Street Collingwood offering druggies money for their names & addresses. Bingo, stooges go and vote for these 'don't care to voters'.

Neil Mitchell should sack himself. He forgets he was the one prior to the last election hailing Kevin Rudd as the saviour and Latham as a rogue. Then he rediscovered Rudd as aloof and distant from real people and discovered Gillard as the best. Now when Latham has the guts to question them and the Labor Party he objects. Latham has all the rights as he was one of them and from their midst. Mitchell is old an envious because he knows that Latham is young and will eclipse him in the media, as he has already done in such a short period of time. Kettle calls pot black. He forgets his interviews such as those with the Democrat women in the past. He is as rude as Latham but he is so obsessed with himself that he can't see it. Latham will be around for a long time despite him.
N.B. Did Latham suggest an interview with Gillard that the Labor Party refused ?
Keep an ear on that track.TraceyH Tuesday 10 August, 2010 - 11:19 AM -
