Peter Reith slams copycat Gillard
The Prime Minister and Opposition leader are continuing to trade barbs over each other's asylum seeker policy.
The Coalition has accused Julia Gillard of stealing the pacific solution policy, by announcing plans to set-up an offshore detention centre in East Timor.
But Ms Gillard says the plan is good for the region, claiming the Opposition is just about delivering slogans, not action.
However, the East Timorese Opposition says the plan will not happen.
Meanwhile, the Labor Party's most respected elder, John Faulkner, has announced he's quitting the ministry at the election in a huge blow for the new Prime Minister.
'Just get here' asylum seekers

Such an Australian public deserves to be misled. Too much sugar is not good for donkeys. Just have a look around. Boat people themselves have a vote even they are still on the waves and not yet ashore. They know who to vote before coming. I think Abott is missing out here.

Gillard is both a fraud and incompetent. Whatever abuse people may heap on Reith, the one thing they can't change is the truth. Reith was just telling it like it is.

Hail Peter. He made sure these parasites stayed on the high seas and never got to shore. Those were the days my friend. Now even Guillotine Julia is not as consistent flopping between fooling voters till after the elections and give a good show by displaying regional co-operation as weak, guilty and at its lowest. Watch yourself New Zealand and East Timor. There is more coming from her.
