I notice that increasingly our leaders in politics (with the possible exception of Barnaby Joice) speak without passion, conviction, from the heart - there is no fire or inspiration. The robotic performance of Gillard is perhaps the best example, but Abbott, too, is lately searching for and testing every word he intends to utter. It seems the dead hand of political correctness lies suffocatingly over everything that is said. Weasel words predominate, slogans replace meaningful and succinct statements of policy and action, exhortations to "move forward" in lemming fashion are repeated ad nauseam. I don't think these pollies put Australia first , as they are elected to do, but put themselves first. They are wasting the opportunities and riches this great country has to offer, and there will not be a second time round.

I have never seen so much hatred and sorrow for both parties and Leaders. Maybe we should start a third major party seeing that we are in this "free democratic country", don't vote and see how free it is? Don't pay rates and see how free it is, build a Fwy through ya house and see if you really own it. She's all a con both sides may the better Donkey win!
