Australia a 's--t' country: Tiba
PLAYING NOW: Abdul Tiba, the man at the head of the family apparently being targeted by a rival family in a series of shootings, provides this rant to 3AW
*Images from Yvette Gray from northern suburbs on Wednesday morning*
UPDATE: The head of the notorious crime family under siege in the latest gang feud says police aren't offering his family enough protection.
Abdul Tiba said nobody was prepared to protect his family.
Although there was a large police presence outside his Guildford Avenue home in Coolaroo, with uniformed officers doorknocking the area, Mr Tiba said not enough was being done.
Mr Tiba returned to the family home, which has been sprayed with bullets and firebombed recently, to pick up some clothes and medicine.
He said he had been living in his car with his wife, and in motels.
"They gave me two days in a motel like a f**king gypsy," Mr Tiba said.
"I've had enough of this stress.
"No one helps in this country. No police, no community, no St Vincent's (de Paul Society), nobody.
"I tell them I want to protect my family. No one cares about this. They want to give all the responsibility for this (to me). I know nothing and I've given them my statements.
"I tell them I want to go back (to Lebanon). I don't want to stay in this shit country. No one ... can spend $1000 to save my family."

EARLIER: 3AW Reporter Yvette Gray reports police pulled over a car in Somerset Drive, Campbellfield, and spoke to a man and a woman shortly after 9am.
Neil Mitchell says the two people were spoken to and at least one of the police officers on the scene is investigating the spate of shootings in the area.
However, police say the Somerset Road activity relates to an alleged road rage incident which they're not linking to the recent shootings.
3AW reported a gun was involved in the road rage incident.

WEDNESDAY: A former NSW policeman who busted that state's family crime gang war says police investigating the recent violence in Melbourne's north will be met with a wall of silence.
The Santiago task force is investigating two notorious crime families in the north who've been at war for months.
In the latest attack, shots were fired from a vehicle at Glenroy on Tuesday afternoon.
It follows shootings and a firebomb attack in Coolaroo.
But former NSW Assistant Commissioner Clive Small says these gangs oeprate to a strict code of silence.
Residents in Melbourne's northern suburbs say they're living in fear and many want to leave as a family gang war escalates.
Tuesday's incident follows other shootings and a firebomb attack.

Police warning over Pakenham siege
UPDATE: Five people are in police custody following a siege in Melbourne's south-east. Police feared a gun-wielding man may have been holding hostages inside a home in Pakenham, but the siege is believed to have ended peacefully.
More violence in Jacana
There are more reports of shots fired in Melbourne's north this morning, the fifth in a spate of incidents in the area since last Sunday. It is believed to be the same house targeted last week on Sunset Blvd in Jacana.

Neil, People who have duel citizenship and live outside our laws, perhaps they can have their Australian citizenship recindered. Also the families currently in the news, I would like to know if any of them hold a job or ever have, that should not be too hard to find out. I'm extremely offended that they happily live here and hate us so so much.A pity they didn't hate our welfare as much..

Would love to see Mr Tibor's history of work / social security over his time in Australia. I'm betting he owes us millions. Doubt if he has ever done an honest days work in his life. Everthing he has is provided by suckers like us.
Problem is there is so many out there just like him.Ralph of PascoeVale Friday 1 July, 2011 - 12:00 PM -
