Dramatic Police Pursuit
Two people are in custody following a pursuit along the Princes Highway which reached speeds of up to 140 kilometres an hour.
The pair is suspected of being involved in the alleged theft of clothing from a Westfield store in Geelong this morning.
A police car pursued a vehicle along the highway until it crossed to the wrong side and the pursuit was called off.
Sergeant Sharon Darcy says an unmarked vehicle then gave chase.
Callers to the Neil Mitchell program said the car was driving in the emergency lane.
