Young Victorian quick James Pattinson says his body's feeling good after being named man-of-the-match for a five-wicket haul in the win over the Kiwis in the first Test.

Pattinson hopes his problems with a back injury are in the past.

TEST SQUAD: Cricket Australia's National Selection Panel has announced the squad of twelve for the second Test against New Zealand in Hobart, which begins on Friday December 9.

The Australian squad is:

Michael Clarke (captain)
Brad Haddin (vice-captain)
Dan Christian
Phil Hughes
Mike Hussey
Usman Khawaja
Nathan Lyon
James Pattinson
Ricky Ponting
Peter Siddle
Mitchell Starc
David Warner

Commenting on the squad, National Selector John Inverarity said: "The National Selection Panel has decided to replace the injured Ben Cutting with Daniel Christian in the twelve for the Second Test, which begins in Hobart this Friday."
