Andrew Symonds is a guy with a personality not taylored to the off field demands of top level sport these days and he needs to be treated as such and given some latitude. While most of us would have simply humoured the guy and got him out of there that isn't the type of person he is. CA needs to take some of the blame for not recognising this and helping him with that more.

this guy, can not handle the status of "celebrity". He likes the money and the status of being in the Australian cricket team. Being in the public eye is all part of that. How easy is it, to smile for a camera shot and shake the hand of a fan. The fan might have been drunk, an idiot..whatever, all the more reason to stay calm and keep the situation netural. GET RID OF SYMONDS ASAP!!
