God works in mysterious ways?
Part of me says don't give this rabid nutter more oxygen. But silence can be interpreted as a weakness or even a sign of agreement or capitulation. So here goes.
It concerns yet another media release from Pastor Danny Nalliah, that zealot who heads that church group called Catch the Fires Ministries.
I brought him to your attention a year ago, during the horror and suffering of Black Saturday, when he added to the pain by claiming the bushfires were God's revenge.
God had wreaked vengeance on Victoria as punishment over the Government's abortion laws.
At a time when the death toll was rising, people were still missing and emotions were raw, this heartless, twisted man of the cloth, said God had removed his protection from Australia, in particular, Victoria, for 'approving the slaughter of innocent children in the womb'.
I described it as the most despicable, perverse, insensitive, cruel and callous media release I had ever seen.
Well, this rancid preacher is at it again. His latest media release, again dealing with Black Saturday and the recent fire alert season appears under the headline:
'Global cooling shows divine protection restored – what would Derryn Hinch think?'
Nalliah says we had a disaster free summer because God has restored his 'divine protection' over Victoria and Australia. And that has been in response to fasting and prayers. And presumably we can thank Pastor Danny for that. The fact we had a helluva lot of rain probably helped.
In his latest press release Nalliah asks: What would Derryn Hinch think?
Well I think if last year's bushfires and heavy loss of life were caused by God's wrath because of the abortion laws, and this year it's thanks to God that we had no repeat of Black Saturday, then God must now be in favour of abortion.
Because the new abortion law that dough-brained Danny says invoked his cruel anger last year is still in place. Right?

Luke - paedophilia, sexual abuse & rape of innocent children may be irrelevant to you and your charming church, but I can assure you the rest of the community think otherwise~! Luke, I'm surprised some of your charming priests even have time to focus on religion, considering their other 'non religious' activities~! I 'spose when you hear these sorts of allegations so often, it must become inconsequential to someone like you?

'God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.' [John 4:24]
A person's faith must be placed in God as He exists for that faith to be real. The Bible is understood by spiritual discernment and not by mere intellectual reasoning. Understanding God and who He is comes from comparing scripture with scripture and the truth will be revealed to you in this way.
'When we tell you these things, we do not use words that come from human wisdom. Instead, we speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths.14 But people who aren't spiritual can't receive these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can't understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.' [1 Corinthians 2:13.
A cry from your heart reaching out to God will get His attention at once. When your angry, hurt & disappointed, run to God not from Him. He loves you. God Bless!Sandi Tuesday 23 March, 2010 - 2:10 PM -
hinch you no nothing of the way god works and you never will, to unbelievers everything will seem foolish to you and all others without knowing the real truth, but you will know the truth when the time comes for you and others stand befor him, awaiting judgement, i feel sorry for you, and all others who think like you.

What kind of loving God would not be horrified at the abortion laws in Victoria? If people need a disaster to remind them of God, then surely God must comply. The prophets in the Old Testament were usually hated for bringing God's warning to the nation and it seems that nothing is new.

Lenny I see you didn't pay attention, preferring instead to be irrelevant. I don't know who Nathan is, and I certainly don't go by other names. I am sure I am not the only Luke though.
Luke Friday 19 March, 2010 - 3:16 PM -
Luke, or is it Nathan? Let's not get into the credibility of religion, particularly considering the current and ever expanding allegations of sexual abuse in Ireland, Germany and now the Vienna Boys Choir~! And you wonder why I have zero tolerance of your church with its ongoing history of paedophilic behaviour~!
