Sack her: Hinch Blog

Posted by: By Derryn Hinch, 3AW Drive | 14 November, 2008 - 4:33 PM

Derryn Hinch has called for Victoria Police chief commissioner Christine Nixon to resign immediately in light of her changed story in regards to flying on the inaugural Qantas A380 flight - and failing her doing that, Victorian Premier John Brumby should sack her.

Do you feel let down by Christine Nixon? Should she resign or be sacked?

  • She should be sacked. I worked under her for 3 yrs and I know she would hang out a subordinate to dry and ridicule him/her in public so she should swallow her own medicine. I always knew she was corrupt

  • What was once a proud and honorable calling, the Victorian Police Force has been called into greater and greater disrepute under this fool of woman's watch.

With this latest "Error of Judgement", the force cannot sink any lower.

Get rid of this woman while we still at least have some shadow of what the police used to be,

  • Chief Commissioner Nixon set the bar high for all to follow but tripped herself at the first hurdle. Bzzzzzzz, you're out!
The Office of the Chief Commissioner of Police must retain the confidence of the public and without doubt that confidence must now be compromised.

  • Lets review what has happened on her watch:
2 High level employees charged with corruption related offences. High level BITS employees under investigation for corruption. She gets caught out LYING but it's OK. She has no integrity at all and must go or be sacked!

  • "What's good for the goose is good for the gander" No one in an office as high as hers should lie or make falsehood. What sort of example does she set to members of the Victoria Police Force when she let's so many others out to dry. Utter disgrace!
