Albanese laughs off speech theft

Posted by: 3AW Radio | 25 January, 2012 - 2:09 PM
Anthony Albanese may think greed is good?

Senior Labor MPs have dismissed suggestions a "brainstorming session" scheduled for next week has been designed to save Julia Gillard's leadership.

Caucus will discuss strategies for the year ahead, with backbenchers urged to personally raise concerns in their electorates with the Prime Minister, rather than through the media.

It's believed Ms Gillard is using the so-called "planning day" to sure-up her support, amid claims Kevin Rudd has been quietly securing his numbers for a possible leadership challenge.

Senior Government Frontbencher Anthony Albanese has told the National Press Club there is nothing unusual about the gathering.

Meanwhile, watch a YouTube video of Mr Albanese speaking at the National Press Club, which has gone viral.

  • Here we go again, another year of having to put up with these irrelavent Labor/Green loonies and there never ending garbage they speak and expect the public to believe and follow them. Albo is up there as one of the worst of these labor cronnies. Gillard is a dead woman walking. No gathering of your side show clowns,(Labor MPs), can save you and your party from total distruction at the next election. August 2013 can't get here quick enough.
