Bring back bottle deposits?
Former Collingwood coach Mick Malthouse has launched a campaign to bring back deposits on drink bottles.
Malthouse says he's 'appalled' at the amount of bottles and rubbish he sees in the Yarra.
In South Australia bottles attract a ten cent deposit, which is an incentive for people to collect them, rather than dump them.
Malthouse told Neil Mitchell he'd love to see a system in place here in Victoria.
Listen below and have your say - Should the state government bring back bottle deposits?

Malthouse on Cousins' relapse
3AW's Mick Malthouse says he is not surprised Ben Cousins has had a drug addiction relapse, telling Neil Mitchell the research Collingwood did on Cousins predicted it would happen.

PROFILE: Mick Malthouse is one of the most successful coaches in the history of the AFL, and 3AW is pleased to welcome him aboard our footy team in 2012.

This did happen in the good old days Charlie R.
Those days were much better than today, will the deposit refund apply to plastic bottles, which we did not have in days gone by?
I hate these modern days, we were a lot happier and safer in the 50s and 60s.Faye Tuesday 24 January, 2012 - 8:59 AM -
So please where are the details on joining this campaign that Mick has launched?

Mick, probably the most sensible thing you've ever said!! I'd even restore my billy cart so I could go out and pick up my fortune. Oh, I thought I heard Mylene calling out "BOTTLE-OH". Damn, she got the idea first.
