'Do the crime, you do the time'. Does this ring true?

The suspected head of a family of "gypsy" fraudsters has been arrested in Frankston.

Members of the family are wanted in NSW for fleecing elderly people out of their savings; offering to fix rooves, painting and laying bitumen.

The conmen demand payment up front, then don't return.

One elderly man was duped out of 10,000 dollars.

A 45-year-old man's been arrested and will appear in Frankston Magistrates' Court where he'll face an extradition application.
