The state Minister for Mental Health, Ingrid Stitt, has spoken to 3AW Drive after the Allan government announced they were scrapping the second safe injecting room.

She says the Ken Lay was not a waste of time, despite rejecting the main recommendation, and denied bowing to public pressure.

“I’m absolutely committed to making sure that in implementing our state-wide action plan, the support is going where they’re needed the most,” she said.
