Man in Prahran sex attack ordeal
Police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted another man while armed in Prahran.
The 24-year-old man was walking through Prahran at around 2.30am Thursday when he heard someone coming up behind him.
When he turned into Portland Place he was pushed against a fence by an unknown man.
A sharp object was held to his back as he was sexually assaulted.
The attacker ran off after a passing car shone its headlights on the victim.
Detective senior constable Jason Kok says the victim didn't see what the weapon was.
Investigators are calling on anyone with information to come forward.
Man dies after Hoddle Street crash
A man has died in hospital after crashing into a pole at Abbotsford on Thursday while he was trying to evade a breath test. The man did a u-turn in front of random breath-testing site on High Street, Westgarth, and sped off, before the collision.
