Neil Mitchell's Jim Stynes fears

Jim Stynes

Jim Stynes ... we all know he is very ill, and I haven't got any inside information or spoken to him directly in weeks, but I am very, very worried about his state of health.

Maybe the end is near.

The new Melbourne coach, Mark Neeld, was announced at the weekend and Jim was nowhere to be seen.

That's not like him. He rarely misses anything around the club, even through this whole illness and I fear he's in real strife at the moment.

But he's come out of desperate situations before and if you believe in prayer, pray for Jim Stynes.

  • Vera, we acknowledge that you are allowed your opinion. However we also allow for the fact that your opinion may be wrong.
Please accept that more positive people than yourself have a right to their opinion also - & a right to pray if they so choose!! This is a free country - we are all able to make choices - even you!!

  • Our kindest thoughts and love are with Jim and his family at this time. We hope and pray that Jim's health will improve. This world is a much better place for having such a decent and talented man such as Jim Stynes.

  • Vera, I am an atheist like you. However, I am not a militant atheist. If people want to pray then let them pray. It does no harm to you at all.

  • I also hope Jim recovers, but to place any faith in praying is ludicrous.
    Not negative, just realistic!!!

  • Vera, pretty low and depressing observation from you, most people wish Jim well and hope he is comfortable. Hope you never have to go through what he has had to.

  • There is nothing to pray to Neil, the medical staff look after you.
If prayer was so strong, why don't people just sit in church and not go to hospital for medical treatment - religion is such crap.
