Jacob Friend is pushing a cart around Australia, raising money for the Starlight Foundation.

He's already covered 6,200 kilometres and raised $70,000.

He says the Star Wars outfit is a bit of fun.

Meanwhile, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has closed its waiting list until it finds a new major sponsor.

Make a Wish Foundation CEO, Vicki Funnell, says with 530 requests for assistance to children it needs a new supporter from the business community.
