A Legalise Cannabis Victoria MP has hit out at Victorian Police Commissioner, Shane Patton, after the top cop said police will ensure no one breaks the law at a 420 event this Saturday.

Member for the Western Metropolitan region, David Ettershank, says the commissioner should use resources to police “actual” crimes.

“Seriously … I’m amazed that the commissioner hasn’t learnt something [from last year],” he told Tom Elliott.
