Ted fence-sits on 'porn teacher'
Victorian Premier Ted Baillieu has refused to pass judgement on whether the Geelong teacher involved in a pornographic video with a former student acted inappropriately or not.
"It's a fine line Neil," the Premier said in the 3AW Studio.
"The department is investigating this matter and they will come back with some further recommendations.
"My overall advice is that the web proposes a real risk to people's privacy and people ought to recognise that."
Did the Premier make an errant decision by not automatically condemning the teacher for appearing in a pornographic film with a former student?
Should he have answered the question more directly, or is this the type of response we've come to expect from the Premier?
Have your say below and click on the related link for the full story.
PLAY: Ted Baillieu's response to Neil's question regarding the teacher involved in the porn video scandal
Porn teacher back next week?
A teacher under investigation for allegedly appearing in a pornographic film with one of his former students could return to work as early as next week. Read more on the story which broke on the 3AW Rumour File.

"It's a fine line Neil," ha ha ha! Every day Ted Baillieu sounds more and more like a real life character from Yes Minister.

Pam B,
And Bracks and Brumby did what in 11 years?? Name some worthwhile infrastructure - apart from the 'we won't toll Eastlink' lie. Oh that's right Southern Cross station with a roof that collapses under heavy rain, Myki, smart meters and a desal plant that's behind due to rain and flooding. Our police force is now run by a copper with brains. Got my vote again Ted.Donald Monday 6 February, 2012 - 1:28 PM -
It's great to see a Victorian premier making a comment without a hard hat and fluoro vest. Brumby loved them around cameras except for one day in 2008 when he went missing.

It must be a bloody big fence - do-nothing Ted spends a lot of time sitting on it!!

Ted's right. 98% of men have pornographic images on their iphones and most of them vote. Even the Liberals can't pretend it's 1953 all of the time. :p

The teacher involved stars in a number of online porn movies with numerous young women (yahoo search shows them). Should he be teaching teenage girls?
