Julia's glamorous spread
Women's Weekly editor-in-chief Helen McCabe has defended her decision to run a 13 page spread on Julia Gillard during the election campaign.
She told Denis Walter that she agreed to publish the article before the PM announced that Australians were heading to the polls.
She also said that while Ms Gillard looks glamorous in the photo shoot this isn't a "puff piece".

I disagree with a PRIME MINISTER doing such a shoot..
BUT the upside is...that I hope a lot of young women realise HOW MUCH air brushing...altering etc goes on re these magazine covers..
Ms Gillard looks quite attractive in these images..
So it just goes to show really ANYONE can be on the cover of a magazine & look fab.
completely different to REAL LIFE...
