Mobile Tyre Shop
Mobile Tyre Shop set out with the goal to be the most convenient way to buy tyres. Through their innovative approach customers No longer need to drop off their car and get a lift to work or sit around a workshop on Saturday mornings. With Mobile Tyre Shop they simply select their tyres online and whether they are at home, work or almost anywhere Mobile Tyre Shop will supply, fit and balance their tyres at their chosen location. Of particular importance is that the cost is no greater than if the client came to a shop.
Travis said “Having spent 20 years in real estate and not being able to find time to get my tyres replaced I thought there must have been a better way. With only a concept in mind in May 2011 I set about developing this business.”
Less than 12 months later they now have a fully functioning online store, Supply agreements for all the major tyre brands including Bridgestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, Continental & Pirelli. 2 fully fitted vans and accreditation from a number of Australia's largest fleet companies.
Mobile Tyre Shop is looking to employ another 6 tyre fitters over the next 12 months and have already had a number of enquiries from potential franchisees.
Mobile Tyre Shop has proven that with a good idea, a passion for customer service and a lot of hard work you can change the way people buy their tyres.
SBMS was impressed with the unique approach and the passion behind getting an effective solution for one of the challenges confronting people with busy work lives. The desire to create a business that makes life easier and simplifies a process will serve Travis well.
