Stephen Curry , star of Foxtel’s Cloudstreet, is enjoying packing on the weight. After shedding a heap  to play Damian Oliver in the upcoming feature The Cup, he says, “ I have put on ten kilos since filming ended.”

It could be the funniest duet in Australian musical history. Dr Zhivago's Anthony Warlow has teamed up with Hamish Blake to sing Phantom of the Opera’s All I Ask of You on tonight’s Spicks and Specks on the ABC.

Whisper: The Seeker’s Judith Durham speaks as little as possible by day to save her voice ahead of performances. The group has re-formed for violion maestro Andre Rieu, who is performing at Rod Laver Arena tonight.

‘This is a show that can change actually change people’s lives” says Matt Hetherington who stars with Kate Kendall ( Stingers) in the MTC’s Next to Normal. The Tony award winning musical tackles the sensitive subject of bi-polar disorder and the impact it has on a contemporary family. The show got a standing ovation on opening night.

Miss Universe Victoria contestants battled it out at the Sofitel yesterday for a place in the finals. One of the big prizes at the national crowning on July 7th is a teeth whitening kit.

Charity of the week: Sigrid Thornton is amongst hundreds dining out to raise funds for Camp Quality. The Supper Club brings together famous faces at stunning eateries to raise money for children battling cancer. 35 of Melbourne's best restaurants including Stokehouse, Spice Temple and Maha Bar and Grill are hosting events tomorrow night.

  • Did you know that the organisers of Miss Universe Victorian finals didnt provide any food or water for these girls. 26 finalists along with hairdresssers and makeup artists were there from 7.30am until 5ish and were given nothing!!! Very poor form.
