UPPER YARRA VALLEY GARDEN CLUB - 2010 Open Garden Weekend
Saturday October 30 and Sunday 31, 2010
Gardens open from 10.00AM to 5.00PM both days
Entry Fee is $15 for the 5 gardens or $5 per garden.
50% of the gate takings will be donated in equal shares to the Local District SES and the Warburton CFA.

90 hectares in all, 40 hectares fully planted

Situated on Black Mountain

Scientifically based so every plant is labelled and useful for data base

One of the main features is the  grassy woodland at the entrance

Chewed leaves on Gardenias

Probably a slug or snail, put 5 – 6 pallets of Amgrow or Multicrop Snail Pellets around or a caterpillar, so use pyrerthrum spray

Plant Protection Dome – Plastic Dome, 33cm high x 30cm wide

To put over seedlings for heat, moisture protection from slugs, snails.
