Plant of the Week
Correas are wonderful native fuchsias, common name because of their tubular flowers that attract birds for nectar. They are one of the top native plants to grow for their hardiness and range of colours (bright red, C. ‘Dusky Bells, tangerine, white Correa alba) and will grow in many different situations, heavy clay soils, along the coast or in shady parts of the garden. They can be pruned to shape if necessary.
