Humble Stynes keeps fighting
NOVEMBER 2011: Melbourne Football Club President and all-around good guy Jim Stynes came into the 3AW Studio this morning for an emotional interview with Neil Mitchell.
Stynes, who has been battling cancer for almost three years, says he has good says and bad days, but not once has he lost the will to live.
His beautiful wife Sam Stynes said Jim had been through some particularly rough patches recently, and as little as two weeks ago she thought he was going to die.
With help from Sam, Jim has launched a new business, Jimbo Super Muesli, which specialises in healthy choices and an 'anti-cancer' diet.

Jim,have just watched your last radio interview with Neil today on the day of your passing and even though the sun was setting on your time on this earth, you carried yourself with inspiring depth and inclusiveness. No one would have judged you for living the last few years as a less public figure, but you chose to share your plight and that, more than any of your sporting achievements, will be the eduring memory of the fighter Jim Stynes.

Jim, my inspirational footy player, president of our mighty club, legend and all round great guy/husband and dad. I wish you all the very best from my rednblue heart. I purchased some JIMBO muesli and it was great. I suggest others buy it too. My best wishes to gorgeous Sam and their beautiful kids.

Jim, Lovely interview. It is good to see you up and about. I am a better person for having you as a friend in my life. You have made me a better person. Your friendship means a lot to me. The longer you stay on this earth , a better place it will be and the more richer other peoples lifes will be.

Jim your will to try everything is great. Hmm, but did you know that the drug he is trialling,Ipilmumab, works on the CTLA4 antigen in your body,to boost your immune response and costs $120,000 per 5 rounds/treatments.. Low Dose Naltrexone does the same thing at $58.00 per month (30 tablets)and no side effects!!..Neil look into this.. LDN helps MOST autoimmune diseases.. and is available by prescription.
