Man saves dog's life with mouth-to-mouth

When Salty the Fox Terrier-Jack Russell cross was hit by a car, it looked hopeless.

"He was gone," Steve Hunter told Neil Mitchell.

So Mr Hunter saw only one solution.

He inhaled deeply and breathed life into Salty's lungs.
