Helen Kapalos wanted 'more creative expression of her work'
Sacked Channel 10 newsreader Helen Kapalos told Bruce and Phil she was wanting 'more creative expression of her work' just one week before she was dumped.
Speaking on Nightline, Helen said she had launched her own website as a way of being more interactive with people.
"It's not a monetary thing or anything like that, it's just a chance for me to talk about things that happen on the news at length and things that happen in every day life," she said.

So Helen Kapalos has been dumped as channel Ten news reader. I can see why. I don't agree with it but i see why. Channel Ten has deep financial trouble. They have to cut costs but a few points first.
