Marty Fields

Whenever Bruce or Phil take a well earned break from the programs they know they have left their chair in good hands.

Marty Fields, the son of two Australian showbiz legends Val Jellay and Maurie Fields, is a great asset to the team.

Marty was introduced to the entertainment industry at an early age. He graduated from the esteemed Melba Conservatorium and performs regularly in his hometown of Melbourne. An award winning comedian and actor, Marty has appeared in numerous Australian movies and television programs. He performs 'stand up' throughout Australia's comedy venues and makes numerous corporate appearances.

A proud Ambassador of the Melbourne Storm, Marty dedicates his spare time to the Animal Welfare movement and is the proud Patron of The Lost Dogs Home and Oz Showbiz Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Marty is an absolute breath of fresh air to the AW team and hope he gets a regular gig in one of the 'hard to get into' timeslots at some stage. Great humour, quick wit and clearly spoken. Keep up the good work Marty & Go the Storm! Cheers.

I could never out-do Marty with a joke! Loved The Great Aussie Joke on Hey Hey last night. I was thinking to myself why is Marty wearing that strange purple top - found out later it was a Melbourne Storm top, so that explains it!I'm a bit dumb aren't I? LOL
