The only real interest in this election is...how long can Julia keep going with that fake voice?

Before someone jumps down my throat & accuses me of being a Leftist Union supporter, let me spell it out for you. Back in the early 70's, unions supported ALL workers & the Superannuation Fund then had that much money, it was an embarrassment. I got my first taste of 'unionism' back in '69. Unionists on a Friday hassled non union staff about joining the union & going out on strike the following Monday. Monday arrived, we went out on strike & you guessed it, union members arrived at work, were then sent home because of insufficient staff & were paid for the day, whilst non union members sacrificed a day's pay~! The Police union practically went bankrupt defending corrupt Police, and yet innocent Police received limited representation or support (if any)~! During late '80's/early '90's, the Public Service Union spent something like $250,000 defending a youth worker who should never have been employed, & yet again innocent staff received limited representation. From my personal experience, unions tend to strongly defend individuals who represent the greatest amount of aggravation to management, and guilt or innocence has NO relevance~! Am I currently a financial member of any union? NO~! Will I ever again financially support any union? NOT in this lifetime~!

labour will win, i am sick of the rich getting richer, tax them more so the lower income people pay less tax. Please stop doing things it costs money, leave things the way they are now, just maintain things.Best way to save money is to get rid of state governments.

It amazes me that the unions bother to keep trying to say that the Liberal Party will bring back Workchoices. To be honest it would be political suicide for them to do so, however, I would have no problem with the Liberal Party having a look at the Fair Work Australia Policy there are some problems with it. Unfortunatley, it is known that the unions are unhappy with aspects of Labours Fair Work Australia but they are not going to say anything or make it an issue until after the election. I just hope that people remember that all has not been well with the Labour Party with either Kevin Rudd or Julia Gillard running it. Julia Gillard is putting out just as much spin as Krudd did, but what people have short memories. Scary that people can vote.
