What was your first job?
I was briefly employed as a clerk and decided very early that I had to start working towards something I would enjoy. Showbiz was the main focus and has thankfully remained so for 36 years.
What is your favourite on air moment thus far?
Doing Friday Lunch with Ernie and Darren is something special every week. Three blokes cracking jokes old enough to vote and chatting about nothing for an hour brings a great deal of joy to thousands of listeners.
What is your most embarrassing on air moment?
When I was at 3GL in my first radio job I had a huge hangover courtesy of Ernie and our good friend George Thoms. It was in the days of actually holding the records still above a spinning turntable and then letting them go - many intros were missed!
If you could interview anyone (living or dead) who would it be?
Sir Peter Ustinov. I interviewed him on a music station and the interview ran for two minutes. He was charming and I somehow feel he could be interesting for a bit longer that the format allowed.
