King of Comedy Jerry Lewis left the stage fuming at the VRC Chairman's dinner at Flemington racecourse after a series of audio-visual disasters during his performance. At least twice the show was disrupted by technical failures. The 83-year-old is understood to have hit the roof.
Also at the dinner, the King of Tonga was thrilled to meet country star Kenny Rogers who led the crowd in several sing-a-longs. But the top meet and greet of the night was when Kenny met "Kenny". Actor Shane Jacobson aka Kenny chatted with the friendly star after the gig.
"Dunno", said Shane Warne who's still considering whether to accept an invitation to see Shane Warne the musical. The passionate poker player has not yet endorsed the show which opens in December in Melbournre.
Feisty singer Pink has agreed to belt out a tune for Channel Tenâs Australian Idol next Monday while popular violinist Andre Rieu will appear on Channel Sevenâs Dancing with the stars for the finale on November 9. Word is that he will perform two songs that night.
